WHO ARE WE?

Le Fripier is an online-only Montreal thrift store offering a variety of items. Our list of items includes clothing, shoes, bags, home decor and other accessories.

Our mission is to select unique items to bring new colors to your everyday life while giving them a new life in your image. We believe that there is beauty in difference and that it should be celebrated. Moreover, by buying second hand products, you are doing something good for the planet. Our slogan:Every garment has a story, you create your own! represents our mission.

WHY ONLY ONLINE?

The goal behind an online store is to make shopping easier. COVID-19 has brought its share of changes and adaptations to everyday life and we believe that E-commerce is the future of retail.

In order to offer the most specialized service, we accept to receive customers by appointment. We also invite you to contact us if you would like more information or detailed pictures of the items.

OUR HISTORY

Patrick Sobreira Gomes, 26 years old, is no stranger to retail. He has been working in the fashion industry since he was 17 years old and has a B.A. in Fashion Strategy and Commerce from ESG UQÀM. He has always been an important influence in his entourage in terms of clothing style due to his authenticity and charisma. Patrick has always been passionate about styling. He has an eye for detail, which allows him to see the potential of fashion finds.

Whether it's to dress himself or his loved ones, he always knew that one day he would own his own fashion company. Having witnessed the impact fashion can have on the self-esteem of those around him, he has always felt the need to help others feel good about themselves.

In the last year of COVID-19, Patrick worked daily on his style and difference and saw positive changes in his self-esteem. He decided that it was time to help others be more fulfilled. That's when Le Fripier really came to life!
